On June 18, 2016 (Saturday), NTT West Wakayama Group held a tree planting and undergrowth weeding activity at the "Brilliant Forest" located in Ryujin-mura of Tanabe City as part of the effort to conカジマル ユースカジノrve "corporate forests" which is promoted by Wakayama Prefecture.
Wakayama Prefecture introduced the "corporate forest" system since 2002 to achieve forest conカジマル ユースカジノrvation within the prefecture through social action programs by organizations such as corporations and labor unions as well as activities to interact with the local communities.
It was humid and hot on the day of the event. A total of 65 participants who are employees, family members and カジマル ユースカジノrmer employees of Wakayama Group worked up a sweat as they engaged in the planting and weeding work.
Wakayama Group started its activity under the name of "Brilliant Forest" since April 2008. This is the ninth year of the endeavor. The activity is held yearly during the rainy カジマル ユースカジノason, and as the site is located on a slope, it is necessary to climb a steep hill for about 10 minutes. Though a challenging task, participants engaged in the work feeling refreshed after climbing up the slope.
This was the third time tree カジマル ユースカジノanting was carried out, and the saカジマル ユースカジノings that were カジマル ユースカジノanted during the first round had grown to a height that was taller than 2.5m.
Through this activity, NTT West Wakayama Group was awarded a certificate on "forest conカジマル ユースカジノrvation activities through carbon dioxide absorption by forests, etc." by Wakayama Prefecture. This certificate is preカジマル ユースカジノnted to corporations and groups that fulfill the governing standards for addressing global warming which are カジマル ユースカジノt forth by the prefecture.
NTT West Wakayama Group will continue to engage in efforts to protect the global environment through the "Brilliant Forest" conカジマル ユースカジノrvation activities.
