On November 12, 2016 (Saturday), NTT West Kochi Group carried out thinning works at the "NTT Hikari no Mori (Bright ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認rest)." It was a clear autumn day on the day of the activity with participation by a total of 60 people who are employees, family members as well as retired employees of the Kochi Group.
In 2008, NTT West Kochi Group concluded a "Cooperative ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認restation Partnership Agreement" (with Kochi Prefecture, Kochi City and Kochi ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認rest Owners' Cooperative) to carry out interactive activities such as tree thinning in the overcrowded parts of the "NTT Hikari no Mori (Bright ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認rest)" to create an environment that allows sufficient sunlight to reach the tree roots and the ground surface.
Participants who took part in this activity were divided into two groups, A and B, and a hands-on thinning experience ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認ssion and woodwork class were conducted for each group.
The hands-on thinning experience ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認ssion was held on a steep slope, and participants had the chance to cut down four cedar trees using a saw under the guidance of members from the Kochi Forest Owners' Cooperative.
At the woodwork class, participants learned to make clocks from the wood of cypress trees. The steps were relatively simple, and participants were engrosユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認d in the process as they added ideas of their own to produce original and beautiful clocks.
Participants had charcoal-grilled ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認od and inaka sushi (a local specialty of Kochi) ユースカジノ 賭け条件 確認r lunch while fully enjoying the clear blue sky and clean air of the open space. The expressions of the participants were lively and their joyous laughter echoed through the quiet mountains.
