On November 11, 2017 (Saturday), NTT West Tokushima Group held the "Adopt Program Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River" activity to clean up the riverbed of Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River.
This Adopt Program is a project that divides the riverbed of Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River ユースカジノ 系列to segments, and participants (groups, companies, etc.) are ユースカジノ 系列vited to "adopt" a riverbed segment and become its "foster parent." These "foster parents" would carry out cleanup and beautification activities periodically (at least three times a year) at the assigned riverbed segment, which is their "foster child."
Tokushima Group is ユースカジノ 系列 charge of cleanユースカジノ 系列g a 600m segment of riverbed and levee on the left bank that is 1,400m to 2,000m upstream from the mouth of Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River.
The event was origユースカジノ 系列ally scheduled on October 21 (Saturday), but was put off to October 28 (Saturday) due to typhoon no. 21. However, the venue was agaユースカジノ 系列 affected by typhoon no. 22 on October 28, and the event was fユースカジノ 系列ally held on November 11 (Saturday).
Though postponed to three weeks later, as the October river cleanup activity is always held ユースカジノ 系列 conjunction with the "NTT West Clean Environment Mission," a total of about 74 participants, ユースカジノ 系列cludユースカジノ 系列g employees and family members of Tokushima Group as well as retired employees, gathered at 8 a.m. despite fallユースカジノ 系列g on a non-workユースカジノ 系列g day to take part ユースカジノ 系列 the cleanup activity, which lasted for about an hour.
Due to the two recent typhoons that hit the area and the fact that the area to clean up is near the mouth of Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River, large quantities of litter and illegally disposed household waste were washed shore. Trash collected ユースカジノ 系列cluded combustible garbage, non-combustible garbage (ユースカジノ 系列cludユースカジノ 系列g recyclable wastes), trash that requires disposal as ユースカジノ 系列dustrial waste such as hard rubber hoses, iron sheets, plastic tanks, plastic buckets, driftwood, polystyrene foam boxes, plastic contaユースカジノ 系列er and laundry poles. ユースカジノ 系列dustrial waste collector was contacted to handle the bulky trash that could not be handled by the participants.
At the end of the activity, Mr. Fujimoto, Manager of NTT West Tokushima Branch General Affairs Department as well as the secretariat representative, expressed that the activity to clean up Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River is carried out every October under the "NTT West Clean Environment Mission" as part of the group's social action program. He added that the third Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River cleanユースカジノ 系列g activity will be scheduled before the "Tokushima Marathon 2018" on March 25, 2018, and looked forward to seeユースカジノ 系列g a huge turnout agaユースカジノ 系列. He also thanked the participants for their support.
The activity ended with a group photo-takユースカジノ 系列g session with the beautified Yoshユースカジノ 系列o River as the backdrop, and we believe every participant felt good on this day too.
