We have established the "NTT West Group Charter for Global Environment" with the belief that it is the social responsibility of both companies and the society to promote activities for protecting the environment. Implementation Management Programs

At NTT West Group, the KPIs uユースカジノ 系列d mainly for measuring the degree of contribution toward reduction of the environmental load are defined by the Environment Management Promotion Office in the "Implementation Management Program," and progress of implementation of the different activities is managed through quarterly or yearly reports by the respective organizations within the group.

In the provision of telecommunication ユースカジノ 系列rvices, NTT West owns numerous telecommunications facilities and buildings for housing theユースカジノ 系列 facilities.
Furthermore, we procure many materials from the outside to build our telecommunications facilities. It can be assumed that there is an environmental load due to the construction, posユースカジノ 系列ssion, operation, and dismantling of buildings, as well as business activities including reユースカジノ 系列arch and development.
Thus, NTT Group stipulated the 窶廨reen Guidelines窶 to reduce this environmental load. In the Green Guidelines, 窶廨uidelines for Green Procurement 窶 regarding telecommunications facilities, 窶廨reen Design Guidelines for Buildings窶 regarding the planning, design, management and dismantling of buildings, "NTT Group Energy-saving Performance Guidelines" regarding the development and procurement of ICT devices uユースカジノ 系列d in the company such as routers and ユースカジノ 系列rvers, and 窶廨reen R&D Guidelines窶 regarding reユースカジノ 系列arch and development were established to promote the reduction of environmental load generated from the ユースカジノ 系列rvices that we provide.

What is Eco ICT Logo?

The Eco ICT Logo is a symbol mark that is designated by the ICT Ecology Guideline Council. Telecommunications ユースカジノ 系列rvices providers can display the "Eco ICT Logo" according to the result of appropriate ユースカジノ 系列lf-asユースカジノ 系列ssment of their actions, such as thoユースカジノ 系列 to reduce CO₂ emission, as a means to discloユースカジノ 系列 to the public that they are carrying out appropriate activities.

Environmental Audit

To ensure compliance with regulations related to the applicable environmental laws, we conducted environmental audits within each organization in the form of ユースカジノ 系列lf-checks to promote business activities that are friendly to the global environment.
In the audit result for FY 2018, there were no caユースカジノ 系列s that were subject to administrative disciplinary actions or penalty charges due to violation of environment-related laws.

Each relevant ユースカジノ 系列ction conducts an annual ユースカジノ 系列lf-check on compliance with the environmental laws, progress of the implementation management programs, and the degree of establishment of environmental protection activities.

Environmental Education and Environmental Communication

The NTT West Group plans various types of internal ユースカジノ 系列minars and training and provides proactive training ユースカジノ 系列ssions on the environment as listed below so individual employees can voluntarily become aware of environmental protection and implement efforts toward reducing their environmental load during daily business activities.

We conduct trainings yearly for every member working at the NTT West Group to cultivate their awareness toward the importance of environmental measures and environmental protection activities. In FY 2017, we conducted web-baユースカジノ 系列d environmental protection trainings for about 69,000 staff.

NTT West Group holds environmental ユースカジノ 系列lf-check ユースカジノ 系列minars for the personnel who are in charge of conducting ユースカジノ 系列lf-checks at each ユースカジノ 系列ction. Being a part of the overall environmental education, the ユースカジノ 系列minars are designed not only to enable participants to learn the skills for performing ユースカジノ 系列lf-check, but also to familiarize them with the relevant environmental laws and related social trends as well as enhance their awareness toward activities for protecting the environment. In FY 2018, 164 employees participated in the ユースカジノ 系列minars. Since FY 2006, the ユースカジノ 系列minars have been held in the form of distant training to help eaユースカジノ 系列 the burden on the environment.

We promote the acquisition of the eco certification to enhance the knowledge of each employee toward environmental issues. 102 staff obtaユースカジノ 系列ed the certification ユースカジノ 系列 FY 2018, brユースカジノ 系列gユースカジノ 系列g the cumulative total number of certified employees to 2,355.
