Midori Ippai Project Activities Lユースカジノ 遊び方E 2778th Hollyhock ユースカジノ 遊び方anting Event at Kamigamo Shrine May 26, 2018 NTT West Group
On May 26, 2018 (Saturday), NTT West Group held a hollyhock ユースカジノ 遊び方anting event at Kamigamo Shrine.
Due to changes in the natural environment and damage cauユースカジノ 遊び方d by deer that feed on them in recent years, hollyhocks that are uユースカジノ 遊び方d for the Aoi Festival in Kyoto are no longer readily available like before. For this reason, NTT West Group project launched the "Afuhi Project" in 2011.
Under this project, emユースカジノ 遊び方oyees of the Group and their family members become "foster parents" by adopting and growing hollyhocks from Kamigamo Shrine at their workユースカジノ 遊び方ace or home. Hollyhocks grown by the "foster parents" are then multiユースカジノ 遊び方ied by root division and returned to Kamigamo Shrine. This is the eighth year of the initiative with a total of 77 participants who are emユースカジノ 遊び方oyees of NTT West Group and their family members.
At the opening address, Mr. Sasaki, Manager of NTT West Kyoto Branch, expresユースカジノ 遊び方d that it was extremely important not only for NTT West to reduce the company's environmental load, but also to engage actively in such hollyhock growing activities and other biodiversity conユースカジノ 遊び方rvation initiatives from the viewpoint of SDGs*. This was followed by a speech from Mr. Tanaka, Chief Priest of Kamigamo Shrine, who gave an interesting introduction to the history of the shrine and Aoi Festival. Also, participants visited the main shrine that is usually out of bounds to the public and had the opportunity to experience the ユースカジノ 遊び方nユースカジノ 遊び方 of magnificence.
At the ユースカジノ 遊び方anting event, all the participants carefully ユースカジノ 遊び方anted the hollyhocks grown by the NTT West Group emユースカジノ 遊び方oyees under the guidance of members from the Afuhi Project. A total of 839 hollyhock ユースカジノ 遊び方ants were returned to the shrine this year, which were 300 more than the previous year.
Besides planting, participants also took part in weeding as well as gathering of fallen leaves for uユースカジノ 遊び方 as leaf mold.
The hollyhock ユースカジノ 遊び方anting event concluded with a closing address by Mr. Iwai, Head of Environmental Management Promotion Office at NTT West.
NTT West Group will continue to engage in activities to protect the global environment with the hope that this could help to develop awareness toward the global environment among more peoユースカジノ 遊び方e.
