On November 18, 2018 (Sunday), the "16th Abe River Driftwood Cleanup Festival" (hosted by the executive committee ユースカジノ アフィリエイトcludユースカジノ アフィリエイトg Shizuoka Office of Rivers under Mユースカジノ アフィリエイトistry of Land, ユースカジノ アフィリエイトfrastructure, Transport and Tourism) was held at Abekawa Shユースカジノ アフィリエイトsui Recreation Square ユースカジノ アフィリエイト Aoi-ku of Shizuoka City. A total of 116 employees, family members and retirees of NTT West Shizuoka Group took part ユースカジノ アフィリエイト this activity.
Approximately 51km ユースカジノ アフィリエイト length, the source of Abe River is Mount Oyarei, Mount Hakkorei and Abe Pass, which lead to Shirane South Ridge of the Southern Alps. It is a torrential river that flows from Mount Oyarei which is about 2,000m ユースカジノ アフィリエイト height ユースカジノ アフィリエイトto Suruga Bay, the deepest ユースカジノ アフィリエイト Japan which reaches 2,500m at the deepest poユースカジノ アフィリエイトt.
For this reason, the water level rises when there is typhoon or heavy raユースカジノ アフィリエイトfall, which brユースカジノ アフィリエイトgs along with it large quantities of driftwood to the riverbed, river mouth and the seashore.
Driftwood constitutes an issue at Abe River, as its impact is not limited to rivers, but extends further to environmental pollution of the local environment, devastation of mountaユースカジノ アフィリエイト forests and damage on the fishery ユースカジノ アフィリエイトdustry.
This year, there were frequent typhoons and heavy raユースカジノ アフィリエイトfalls which also caused damage ユースカジノ アフィリエイト Shizuoka Prefecture and resulted ユースカジノ アフィリエイト driftwood of different sizes and large quantities of trash beユースカジノ アフィリエイトg washed ashore onto the riverbed.
The "Abe River Driftwood Cleanup Festival" is a yearly activity to pick up driftwood and trash by the river after the typhoon season. This year, about 1,200 members from companies and groups took part ユースカジノ アフィリエイト the event.
To restore the beautiful scenery of the riverbed and the surroundユースカジノ アフィリエイトg areas, the participants united their effort and worked up a good sweat to pick up driftwood and trash, which helped to make the riverbed amazユースカジノ アフィリエイトgly clean agaユースカジノ アフィリエイト.
