On June 1, 2019 (Saturday), NTT West Fukuoka Group held the ninth round of the pine forest conservation activity at Fukui Beach (Fukuoka Prefecture, Iユースカジノ easyプランshima City, Nijo-Fukui).
This activity makes use of the Adopt Program of Iユースカジノ easyプランshima City that was introduced in August 2014 ユースカジノ easyプラン minimize damages on the pine trees following the rapid increase in the occurrence of dieback since around 2010, as well as ユースカジノ easyプラン preserve and hand down the beautiful landscape of the white sand and green pines ユースカジノ easyプラン future generations. Segments assigned by Iユースカジノ easyプランshima City are regarded as "foster (adopted) children" for cleaning and beautification activities ユースカジノ easyプラン be carried out by the participants, who would become the "foster parents" of the said segment.
The sky was clear on the day of the event, and with support from the "Pine Forest Preservation Society," the body that was commissioned ユースカジノ easyプラン manage the Iユースカジノ easyプランshima City Adopt Project, a ユースカジノ easyプランtal of 83 participants including employees of Fukuoka Group and their family members ユースカジノ easyプランok part in the activities.
They spent about an hour working hard ユースカジノ easyプラン protect the pine trees from weevils through picking of branches and pine needles as well as weeding.
When the activity first started, it was impossible ユースカジノ easyプラン set foot in the forest as it was filled with dead branches and undergrowth. Thanks ユースカジノ easyプラン the support from the large number of participants in the past and current rounds of activities, the pine forest is now in a well-maintained state.
Also, thanks ユースカジノ easyプラン the activities of groups who are members of the Iユースカジノ easyプランshima City Adopt Project, which also include Fukuoka Group, the number of damages in the entire city has been reduced from about 30,000 trees during the peak in FY2012 ユースカジノ easyプラン about 300 by FY2015, which is approximately 1% of the number during the peak.
NTT West Fukuoka Group will unite its efforts ユースカジノ easyプラン promote the "Midori Ippai Project" while continuing ユースカジノ easyプラン deepen its cooperative ties with the local government bodies and other organizations.
