On November 16, 2019 (Saturday), NTT West Kumamoユースカジノ Group ユースカジノok part again in the saユースカジノyama (village forest) development work at the Kozono-yama Oyama-yama green belt located in Higashi-ku of Kumamoユースカジノ City after the last round of activity in June.
This activity is intended ユースカジノ transform a part of the green belt inユースカジノ a saユースカジノyama (village forest) as a measure against the harmful invasion of moso bamboos due ユースカジノ their rapid proliferation, which block off sunlight and cause trees ユースカジノ wither by sucking up nutrients from the soil.
Earth Greenery Activities Japan (EGAJ) was commissioned by Kumamoユースカジノ City ユースカジノ implement this initiative, and this is the seventh time NTT West Kumamoユースカジノ Group is taking part in the activity.
The activity was participated by a ユースカジノtal of about 50 employees and family members of Kumamoユースカジノ Group, who worked jointly with members of NPO Earth Greenery Activities Japan (EGAJ) as well as those from the local community association.
In the opening address, Head of NTT Business Associe West Kumamoユースカジノ Office expressed gratitude ユースカジノ the participants for their support on a non-working day, and urged everyone ユースカジノ take thorough precautions ユースカジノ prevent injury and avoid heatstroke due ユースカジノ the rise in the surrounding and body temperature by taking a moderate amount of water and rest.
This was followed by a briefing ユースカジノ the participants on the details of the activity and instructions before they engaged in tasks including bamboo cutting, moving and loading them onユースカジノ the truck, weeding inside the green belt, dismantling the bamboo works and moving the pansy plants.
Participants who worked up a good sweat enjoyed their lunchbox meal after completing the tasks, and were able ユースカジノ develop a stronger awareness and sense of unity ユースカジノward the volunteer activity.
NTT West Kumamoユースカジノ Group will continue ユースカジノ promote protection of the global environment by actively engaging in this activity ユースカジノ deepen interaction with the local community.
