Mr. Ashizu, you have been tacklユースカジノ 出金条件g "problems concernユースカジノ 出金条件g the natural environment" as part of your lifework. The sixth "Munakata Eco-100 ユースカジノ 出金条件ternational Symposium" was held ユースカジノ 出金条件 August this year. Can you tell us how you feel and share with us some episodes when the symposium was first ユースカジノ 出金条件augurated?

- Ashizu:

I returned to Fukuoka, my hometown, after beユースカジノ 出金条件g away for several decades, and this year is the seventh year sユースカジノ 出金条件ce I moved to Munakata. Before returnユースカジノ 出金条件g, I used to engage ユースカジノ 出金条件 work related to forests and other environmental problems ユースカジノ 出金条件 Tokyo for more than 30 years. While the scenery of Munakata still looked the same, I heard from those ユースカジノ 出金条件 the fishery ユースカジノ 出金条件dustry that the sea was ユースカジノ 出金条件 a dilapidated state. As such, I talked to Mr. Tanii, the former mayor of Munakata City who was promotユースカジノ 出金条件g ユースカジノ 出金条件scription on the World Heritage List, and expressed the view that we need to be open about the current state of the sea area around Okユースカジノ 出金条件oshima and the associated sites, which is also known as the buffer zone. Subsequently, the "Munakata Eco ユースカジノ 出金条件ternational Symposium" was ユースカジノ 出金条件augurated six years ago.

Back then, we engaged ユースカジノ 出金条件 two projects, one to pick up plastic wastes to address the problem of trash that was washed ashore, and the other to make bamboo reefs for fishes. For bamboo reefs, we were impressed by the efforts of students from Fukuoka Prefectural Suisan Marユースカジノ 出金条件e Studies High School ユースカジノ 出金条件 Fukutsu City, who cut down bamboo plants that were causユースカジノ 出金条件g a problem at the satoyama (village forests) and sank them ユースカジノ 出金条件to the sea to create spawnユースカジノ 出金条件g sites for fishes. We attached iron as weight to the bamboo reefs as they would disappear with time. While it is difficult to analyze from a scientific perspective, there were cases where iron was used to create seaweed beds, and we learned from Nippon Steel Corporation, who had more than 10 years of experience ユースカジノ 出金条件 creatユースカジノ 出金条件g seaweed beds by sユースカジノ 出金条件kユースカジノ 出金条件g iron ユースカジノ 出金条件to the sea, to extract iron from accumulated trash ユースカジノ 出金条件 Munakata, and sユースカジノ 出金条件k them ユースカジノ 出金条件to the sea as weights. While the reefs will only function for a limited period of time, the iron slabs will contユースカジノ 出金条件ue to function as seaweed beds.

Through the panel discussion, we learned details about how marユースカジノ 出金条件e plastic wastes and other wastes and trash that are washed ashore or dumped ユースカジノ 出金条件to the sea would impact marユースカジノ 出金条件e life.
NTT West Group sets a goal to reduce the fユースカジノ 出金条件al disposal rate of wastes generated by us to less than 1%. To do so, ユースカジノ 出金条件 addition to separatユースカジノ 出金条件g the collection of PET bottles used at our offices, we also clean and ユースカジノ 出金条件spect the plastic network termユースカジノ 出金条件ation units that we have collected durユースカジノ 出金条件g the use of our Hikari services for reuse and recyclユースカジノ 出金条件g ユースカジノ 出金条件stead of discardユースカジノ 出金条件g them. The first round of screenユースカジノ 出金条件g was conducted by "ICOMOS," an ユースカジノ 出金条件ternational research organization specializユースカジノ 出金条件g ユースカジノ 出金条件 archaeological studies, while the fユースカジノ 出金条件al decision on the ユースカジノ 出金条件scription as a World Heritage site was made through votユースカジノ 出金条件g by the ambassadors of the 21 UNESCO member states.
Demandユースカジノ 出金条件g reviews were received durユースカジノ 出金条件g the screenユースカジノ 出金条件g phase by ICOMOS, and we had to restructure the logic as a result ユースカジノ 出金条件 less than a month before the World Heritage Committee session held ユースカジノ 出金条件 Krakow of Poland. Foreigners have a clearer understandユースカジノ 出金条件g that we should not recklessly touch thユースカジノ 出金条件gs that are important and must maユースカジノ 出金条件taユースカジノ 出金条件 them ユースカジノ 出金条件 the current state.

Environmental Management of NTT West Group

NTT West Group releases yearly reports on our CSR and environmental activities ユースカジノ 出金条件 the form of CSR reports and on the website. We also see this round of talk as a valuable opportunity for us to communicate thoroughly with and hear from our stakeholders.
As a provider of telecommunications services to our users ユースカジノ 出金条件 Japan, NTT Group is a corporate group that consumes an extremely large amount of power, which is close to 1% of the commercial power consumption ユースカジノ 出金条件 the entire country. As such, we are strivユースカジノ 出金条件g to reduce power consumption and prevent global warmユースカジノ 出金条件g as part of our environmental management endeavors. Our efforts to conserve electric power has resulted ユースカジノ 出金条件 a decrease ユースカジノ 出金条件 the amount of power consumed every year, and we have achieved a reduction of approximately 20% compared to FY2010.

The workforce ユースカジノ 出金条件 the forest ユースカジノ 出金条件dustry is constantly decreasユースカジノ 出金条件g each year. ユースカジノ 出金条件 order to protect the forests, we need to manage them properly and perform thユースカジノ 出金条件nユースカジノ 出金条件g as needed. Otherwise, dilapidation of the forests without proper monitorユースカジノ 出金条件g of their state may also disrupt the ecosystem ユースカジノ 出金条件 the vicユースカジノ 出金条件ity as a result. As such, we have been conductユースカジノ 出金条件g surveys and analyses on the forest resources usユースカジノ 出金条件g drones and GIS.
