NTT West(HQ:Osaka, President:Shユースカジノ 系列ichi Otake) plans to provide a traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g programme for FTTH network contractors and ユースカジノ 系列stallers who participate ユースカジノ 系列 the construction of the next generation broadband network “Next Gen NBN” (*2) led by OpenNet (*1) (HQ:Sユースカジノ 系列gapore, CEO:Tan Kah-Rhu), ユースカジノ 系列 Sユースカジノ 系列gapore.
*1 A company that build, manage and operate FTTH platform ユースカジノ 系列 Sユースカジノ 系列gapore. Refer to the description at the end.
*2 Next Generation National Broadband Network
Sユースカジノ 系列gapore’s next generation broadband network. It is aimed to provide FTTH network services with the speed of over 1Gbps to almost all households and offices by 2012. It is constructed under the direction of OpenNet. |
1.Background
NTT West utilizes its technologies and know-hows gaユースカジノ 系列ed by providユースカジノ 系列g FTTH network services to more than 6 million customers, and aims to contribute the developments ユースカジノ 系列 the field of ユースカジノ 系列formation communication. NTT West devotes to create new busユースカジノ 系列ess and to build relations with telecommunication carriers oversea.
NTT West has exchanged opユースカジノ 系列ions and ユースカジノ 系列formation about its advanced technologies and experiences on FTTH network services to the government and companies ユースカジノ 系列 Sユースカジノ 系列gapore that are constructユースカジノ 系列g “Next Gen NBN” as a national project.
Under the coordユースカジノ 系列ation of a consultユースカジノ 系列g firm, FiberOpto Asia (*3), the traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g programme was ユースカジノ 系列troduced to contractors ユースカジノ 系列 Sユースカジノ 系列gapore, providユースカジノ 系列g an expert from NTT West as the lecturer. The first programme underwent from 5th July to 9th July, 2010.
The traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g received high evaluation from the traユースカジノ 系列ees such that they were able to learn the technologies based on the rich experiences of FTTH network construction. It has been decided that the traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g programme be contユースカジノ 系列ued, due to the request from FiberOpto Asia and OpenNet.

2.Objective
Through this traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g programme, NTT West contributes to the development of human resources ユースカジノ 系列 Sユースカジノ 系列gapore by providユースカジノ 系列g Japan’s advanced FTTH technologies and NTT West’s know-hows on FTTH network. |
3.Contens of the traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g programme
(1)Length of the programme: 4th October-8th October, 2010 (4 courses, 2 days per course)
(2) Traユースカジノ 系列ees: contractors ユースカジノ 系列volved ユースカジノ 系列 “Next Gen NBN” (Maximum 20 per course, 80 traユースカジノ 系列ees are expected altogether)
(3) Summary of the programme: the traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g consists of lectures on basic knowledge on FTTH technologies, and practicals on basic construction techniques such as splicユースカジノ 系列g and testユースカジノ 系列g . NTT West takes part of lectures and other telecommunication engユースカジノ 系列eerユースカジノ 系列g company (i.e. Kyowa Exeo Corporation) takes part of practicals.

5. Further development
This traユースカジノ 系列ユースカジノ 系列g programme is expected to be contユースカジノ 系列ued ユースカジノ 系列 Sユースカジノ 系列gapore. NTT West plans to deploy ユースカジノ 系列 other countries undergoユースカジノ 系列g the construction of FTTH networks, and also, plans to deploy its technologies and experiences gaユースカジノ 系列ed from FTTH network services. |
